The National Pan-Hellenic Council consists of the "Divine Nive" Greek organizations, or historically African American Greek-lettered fraternities and sororities. They include Alpha Kappa Alpha, Alpha Phi Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Iota Phi Theta, Kappa Alpha Psi, Omega Psi Phi, Phi Beta Sigma, Sigma Gamma Rho, and Zeta Phi Beta.

Greek houses are not available, but located on Alexis Circle are Greek plots for each sorority or fraternity. Out of respect, students should not walk or sit on the Greek plots, unless they are affiliated with the fraternity or sorority. However, the "Unity Plot" is open to everyone. Overall, each group represents themselves well at Savannah State University.
