Everything offered is fairly great. I haven't run into trouble yet.

The workload through obtaining the Associate of Science degree is not easy to do. However, it can be done. Studying and practicing homework problems every day is a must. If there are any problems on understanding something, there is a Math and Science Tutoring Center that have tutors able to help you with your homework problems. The instructors also help you a lot in your classes and most of them have office hours every day. It will be tough and tedious, but it will be worth it in the end.

I was a science major and took every science course under the sun pretty much. I felt that the teachers were very knowledgeable and let the students get a good hands on education. The workload is somewhat challenging as the career choice is not an easy one. With that being said, it is still very manageable if the effort is put in. The classes are also very applicable to real world experiences as problem solving is a key. The internship opportunities are great and easy to get involved in.

I am studying for a Bachelors in Microbiology. I decided to go to Scottsdale Community College to achieve the Associates of Science degree, completing lots of classes before attending a university. The workload is rigorous. One will overwhelmed with calculus, organic chemistry and biology, but I truly feel knowledgeable and ready to attend the 300 level courses at the university.

It's really nice to be able to take a couple years worth of classes for the same price of a semester at a University. During my time here, I am eliminating my prerequisites as well as obtaining 4 certificates, and plan to return later to pick up miscellaneous credits towards training for other things I find interesting, such as gun-smithing or being a certified pilot.
