The typical student at the school is friendly and great to work with. Most of the majority care about their school work and are easy to approach to and ask any questions. This is especially important when taking lab science courses. Those classes tend to be easier when one is surrounded by caring, hard-working students.

The Film program here is filled with incredibly talented students that could easily be at any of the top film schools in the country. They are dedicated, motivated and very skilled in all aspects. You may very well see a lot of big names coming from this school. One that's already made it, Bill Hader, (SNL, Superbad).

The student body is quite diverse here, but from the point of view of someone who came from all honors and AP classes in High School, the change to mixed skill level classes can be a bit of a culture shock. Also, student life here certainly doesn't compete with that of a full time university.

My student body is incredibly diverse-ages range from high school students to people in their seventies, many have full time jobs outside of class. There are a variety of different clubs one can join. We have students from many other countries, so there is great diversity in culture, religion, race, background.
