The courses for Graphic Design are so complete. Considering that it's an online school, they have their own tutorials that cover the material in every class that is taken.
Access to your instructor can be gained by email, but your advisor has telephone access to solve any issues that may arise.
One thing that really has impressed me is their extreme welcoming of veterans to enroll. There are programs available for financial aid even if you're not employed and do not qualify for the VA G-I bill...

Tuition & Financial Aid:
They don't have many options for financial aid. The overall tuitions cost are great in comparison with other schools and for the quality of the classes but they don't offer many options to pay.

I can take the classes at my own pace, the quality of the information in classes is great. The teachers are also designers working in the field what allows them to be really update with the demands of the clients.

Multi-Media Options for Different Learning Styles – The lecture at first appear to be long pages that you'll have to read. often them are accompanied by various media with include short films, recorded demos and review kits that you can interact with. In adition, to just reading about the info, you are often given step by step walk-throughs that reinforce skills or ideas discussed in the lecture. In addition, you always have access via email to your instructors for questions and clarifications. I think they way they present the courses will work for a variety of different learning styles. All you need is the discipline to work at it!

Top Instructors – I've had a number of instructors and all have been responsive, helpful, communicative and clearly exprts in the areas they were covering. I love that I get to learn from real world professionals who are out there doing design work in addition to teaching. I am learning a tremendous amount. The instructors have always responded to questions and provided detailed and actionable feedback that has allowed me to further refine my designs. I even had an instructor take the time out of her weekend to construct one of my package designs so that she could see first hand a design challenge I was dealing with!

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Best Deal for Quality – The certificate program is affordable and not priced like traditional college credits. The flat fee meant I could budget and pay in installments and overall costs me less than a comprable program at another school. I am thrilled with the content and instruction by the way.

It is a totally online design school so you have the freedom to do your work when and where you would like. The lessons are wonderful with a lot of interactive components. The instructors are also readily available to answer any additional questions. I did the Graphic Design Certificate program and felt very prepared with the knowledge and skills I gained. All of the homework involved doing practical projects that I now have for my portfolio.

Its all about the feedback – What I love most about the experience that Sessions College offers is the feedback you receive from both other students and instructors. The class sizes seem to be small enough that you get a really personal critique from the instructors on each project.
Each course offers much more than simple tutorials, and the instructors are always happy to answer questions about an exercise, or just answer any question you have about a tool or technique in the Adobe program you are learning. I currently work full-time and feel that Sessions offered the best option for me to get my AOS degree in Graphic Design online. I was skeptical at first, but extremely happy with the results after just two semesters in the program.
I will post more reviews as I move further along in the program and have a better feel of how the program is progressing.

Since Sessions is an online college, everything is available online 24/7. Sessions college has students from over 80 countries and so the site is up and running 24/7. Of course a personal computer and printer are both required, as well as other design tools (digital camera, drawing tools, paints)

Sessions is great with flexibility. The school is completely online, and you can work at basically your own pace, within reasonable time frames. Your required to participate each week, but its not specified when, it depends on your time. The good thing is that although it is flexible, there is still solid structure and organization. Classes are taken through reading lectures and watching small animations and quick videos to aid with new topics and ideas. The whole thing is very easy to navigate through and manage.
What I love most about Sessions though, are the instructors. The students here get one on one feedback for every project they complete, which helps build their portfolio. The instructors are all highly qualified design professionals and they critique your work and tell you how and where you can improve. Another plus is that students get a general three submissions of one project. Once we get feedback, we get a couple more chances to give it another shot and try to improve on our work.
Overall Its a great college and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who wanted to pursue a career in design, or anyone interested in design in general.

Great Learning Experience – Overall, my experience at Sessions has been great. I feel like I am learning a lot or real world design skills. The online classes and self determined pace are both good and bad; good in that I can work on them at my own pace, bad in that it requires discipline to stay on pace and finish on time, especially if you are deadline oriented. The instructors are all knowledgeable and you get to work with a variety of them, all of whom are working, industry professionals, as well as, instructors. This is also the most affordable certificate program that I found in all of my research. I think the only drawback, which you would have with any online school, is the lack of interaction with other students. Although there is a monthly advisor office hour where you can jump online with other students and chat, there is not really a forum for each course, where you can discuss design problems with other students who are working on them.
Overall, I am very happy and have been able to apply the new design and software skills to my job while I continue learning.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
