there are great scholarships for atheltics. there are a lot of need and race based as well. i wish there were more for people like me that are strictly for performance and merit w/o race/need involvement

The scholarships are not bad at SHU because it is private. You get the basic FAFSA pell grant. After depending on your, or your parents income, you can get high amount of TAG grant or need base grant. Scholarships based on your GPA is alright for those coming from high school. Do not come here if you plan on transferring because for someone who has average GPA like 3.3 would only get like 1500 per semester out of a $15,000 per semester tuition.
