In Winchester, there are plenty of places for off-campus dining. Every restaurant or fast food shack is within walking distance. Fast food restaurants such as KFC, McDonald's, and Wendy's are on the lower-value scale of food; the prices are very cheap for each, ranging from $1 to $5.
Other than the normal everyday fast food places, there are many other sit-down restaurants, too. The food ranges from Thai food all the way to pizza and chicken wings. Many of the restaurants also have options for vegetarians or other dietary needs or wants. A lot of students at SU start dining off campus once they have been snacking on campus food for a couple of weeks and get tired of the routine. One of the most popular places for dining is called Snow White Grill, a 1950s-imitation burger joint. At Snow White, food prices range from $1 to $6, and the quality of food is known to be very appetizing with generous portions.
