I am in the day program and was put into an evening class which had to be moved to another semester. I also have to retake A+P I because it has been three years. The administration told me that there have been studies done that students haven't done well in school when these classes were taken over three years ago. I think they need to use these studies as guidelines. I don't feel that I should have to retake this class when the other half of the class (A+PII) was accepted and I use the information that I learned at work on a daily basis. I wish there was a way to test out of this class instead of wasting my time and money and making my course-load bigger.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I don't like how your bill is due before you know what you're oficially taking for classes. I barely got any finacial aide, which is fine, but they were not very helpful for helping me plan the cost of tuition for the two years. I was told I had to go online for the second year even though I had driven to the school to get this information. I also felt the they were frustrated by any questions I asked.

There are always computers to use and printers usually work. The medical program that the hospital uses is not user friendly at all though and usually locks you out if you have to change your password or something. Thank god for tech support!

The library is very helpful and is a great place to study if you want a nice quiet place.

It seems the professors like their subjects and teach enthusiastically.

It is nice that the clinicals are at Brockton Hospital, but the school is very expensive for the programs offered.

It Is Ok – it is ok i suppose i guess it really depends on what you like.

Class Registration Process – Class registration process is great. Us students do not have to do a thing! The entire school consists of maybe 200 students. You go into the school knowing you are not going to have the option of picking your own class times.

It's Ok – I am in my first year and like the school so far. We have a lot of hands on experience and are already pushing meds! The professors are great, have lots of patience with us. So far I am happy with my experience.

Statistics say we have a high retention rate & 97% of students pass the NCLEX after graduation. Guess I'll find out in a few years.

Varied Array of Students – Most students work full time & are there and eager to learn. However, there are some students who don't work & act like all of us who do work full time owe them something, which is completely annoying.

Strict but Reasonable – The school is very open and forth-coming about what credits they will & won't transfer - even prior to applting to the school. They have a fairly strict curriculum, which is understandable as the program requires courses to flow in a specific order. However, they do allow up to two make up exams during the semester so long as you advise the professor prior to the class. With an average of 4 classes per semester, this seems mopre than fair.

Nursing School – Brockton Hospital School of Nursing is set apart from other nursing schools because they are one of the only private nursing schools in the area. They are one of the top nursing schools in the area. They are afforable and the program works well with students who are working and have families at home.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
