Drugs and alcohol are not a visible issue at all. Friends who do not partake in these types of activities are easy to find and do not judge.

I love the professors and the mission of the school. They are clearly trying to create information professionals. I would recommend the school to anyone applying for a degree in Library Science.

The MLS program at Simmons is academically rigorous and demanding. I think the work load is fine. It's a great school with wonderful teachers. The School Library Teacher track offers wonderful support and great direction to students.

There is not much of a nightlife at this school at all. If you want to go out and have fun you have to go to other schools campuses to do so

You don't need a car to get around boston and on campus. There is the subway, bus or walking to get around
College Sophomore 2013-11-06T21:18:51Z
The campus is not very strict.

This school is not some crazy party school. Its pretty quiet and unless its a small group of students pre-gaming. Most students go out to parties to other schools to drink
College Sophomore 2013-11-06T21:14:21Z
This school is not very diverse at all. If you are looking for diversity this school is not for you.. :(

There is not much of a social atmosphere living on campus. Many of the girls are independent and it seems more like we are living in separate mini apartments just co-existing like in any normal residency. If you seek a very fun social atmosphere while living in the dorms perhaps a different school would be better. The dorms are also very small.

Guys & Girls:
There are no guys on campus since it is an all girls school.
College Sophomore 2013-11-06T21:04:43Z
Its an all girls school there is no greek life.
College Sophomore 2013-11-06T21:03:14Z
Health & Safety:
Its a gated campus and most students living on campus should feel very safe.

Most of the teachers are nice and are willing to help you when you need it. Registration for classes is easy and simple and can be done in a short amount of time (if you know what you want to take). The library is a great quiet place to study and there are also private rooms to study with friends.

There are a variety of majors to choose from, and if you are unsure of what major to choose there is always an advisor you can speak with .

The convenience of off-campus dining options is great. The location of this school gives you many within walking distance dining options. There are a variety of food types to choose from depending on where you choose to go!

If you are looking for a college in a city Boston is a pretty good option. There are many other colleges in the entire city so you have a good chance of meeting a lot of different types of people to socialize with. If you aren't from Boston, there are many activities that you can find to explore the city.

The location of the school is very nice and convenient. The residence dorm campus from the outside looks average. However inside the dorms a lot of them need some updating. The residence campus dining hall is not very good. There is not much variety and the quality needs to be improved. Depending on your perspective, there aren't that many great activities and if there are not every student living on campus is aware of them. However being in Boston, you can easily find things to do off campus.

I love the program. I think it's such a great opportunity.

There's a 3+1 program that allows you to combine a major with a master's in public policy.
College Freshman 2013-11-05T23:03:41Z
The guest policy is great. You don't have to sign anyone in, you just have to have eyes on them at all times.
College Freshman 2013-11-05T23:02:30Z
Campus life is varied. A lot of people go home on the weekends.
College Freshman 2013-11-05T23:01:40Z
The classes are great, the professors are approachable, the students are friendly.

Boston is a great city. Simmons is right near Fenway park, which can be exciting even if you don't like baseball.
College Freshman 2013-11-05T23:00:15Z
There's plenty of diversity, especially regarding sexual orientation.
College Freshman 2013-11-05T22:58:39Z
There are plenty of bars nearby, but you can't get in unless you're 21. If you're under 21 there are plenty of frat and house parties nearby.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
