Public Safety is good at alerting everyone when there have been crimes, on or off campus. It's a city, so you're going to expect a little bit of danger off campus. There are occasionally thefts, but it tends to be from people who don't actually go to Simmons. Overall I feel pretty safe. I can leave my belongings at my table in the dining hall and everything will be there when I get back.
