There's no Greek life at Skidmore! For some students, that's a huge reason to come to Skidmore. For others, it wasn't a game changer in choosing colleges to apply to. The absence of Greek life is not felt at Skidmore because it is such a small school to begin with.

While Greek life is extremely helpful in making a big school feel smaller, Skidmore is small enough without needing to divide the school into smaller groups. That being said, students find their own niches on campus whether that be a sports team, an a cappella group, or a club that they're a part of. These smaller niches are opportunities to hang out in a group of people with like interests without being anything like a fraternity or a sorority.
