Clubs and Organizations on Campus

There are tons of clubs and organizations on campus. At the beginning of every semester, there is a campus-wide club fair. The club fair is not just attended by freshmen, but by every student. It is always fun to sign up for a club no matter what year you're in. Clubs are a great way to make more friends who have similar interests as you. Whether it's one of the five a cappella groups, sailing with the Sailing Club, or the Pre-Med Club, there is a huge range of options for everyone at Skidmore.

Did You Know?
  • Skidmore has a crafts club! Random Acts of Crafts (RAC) is a great way to relax on a weekday night and just make something fun while talking with some friends.
  • There are several dance clubs: Breakbeats, Rithmos, Skidmore Irish Dance Club, Stompin' Soles, and more.
  • Have a conflict? Skidmore's Conflict Resolution Club (a.k.a. "Fight Club") is available to mediate! Trained student mediators on campus work to make Skidmore a better place!
  • There are lots of committees that students can be a part of, from Academic Council to the Traditions Committee.
  • Like putting on concerts and shows? Maybe you'd be interested in SEC (Skidmore Entertainment Committee) to help put on big concerts throughout the school year. Or Lively Lucy's, which puts on Falstaff's events every Thursday. Maybe you're interested in TV or radio? Skidmore has a SkidTV station and club, as well as Skidmore radio (you'll get your own show!—but if you're new, be prepared to be on air at 4 a.m.).
