What about the weekends? Do lots of kids go home or are there plenty of people that stay ?

A lot of the lower classmen tend to go home for the weekend, but juniors and seniors tend to stay in town all weekend.

Weekends in slippery rock are always a good time to hang out with friends or catch up on some homework. The students generally stay on campus instead of taking a trip home.

A lot of party's on the weekends, and pittsburgh is less than an hour away. Sme people go home, but most stay. There are also a lot of activities hosted by student life.

Some people did and some people didn't. In my experience you met the most people on the weekends doing things on and around campus.

I think a fair amount of people stay. I had a few friends that went home once a month or so, but overall Slippery Rock's pretty busy during the weekends!

I live up in the new residence halls, and often it seems like most of the people who stay regularly are people who are from quite a distance away. There are always people who live off-campus who live there year round though.

People do not go home, though there is not mucb to do in the town.

Slippery Rock is a typical "suitcase college." A lot of the people that are from the area go home to jobs, family, pets, or significant others. There are also a lot of people who stay. I'd say it's about 50/50. Additionally, there are a lot of commuter students.

A lot of kids go home on the weekends because a lot of people live close to Slippery Rock. Many activities happen on the weekend at Slippery Rock that people miss out on because they go home.

At SRU on weekends, I would say 60-70% of the students go home. Campus is practically dead on weekends with the exception brunch on Saturday and Sunday.

A lot of people go home, but our campus is fairly big so there are students on campus on the weekends

There are a fair amount of people that stay. I'd say about half of the students do.
