The financial aid office was not very helpful. Many of the offices aren't that helpful. They have a lot of resources but you have to find them yourself.

The school gave me a tremendous amount of financial aid. I also have the privilege of being on work study that works around my classes. It is very easy to speak with the financial aid office.

I received a great grant, though it was hard to get.

Adjusting Aid Amount – The applications was filed okay. But, the problem is the amount of aid. I put in the financial aid form that my family can contribute a certain amount each year. The college replied us that the amount my family has to contribute was twice as the amount in the form. My family and I were afraid that if we replied that we can contribute only the original amount, I would get rejected for admission. So, my aunt decided to loan us money and we increased our amount by half of it. I wish the college could offer a little more grant at the first place.

My financial aid process went really well. But I think it was mostly in due part to my dad. I don't know much about how money works, so it was really great to have it. While they do provide services to help you I think they could be a little more open about it. College students are the main group susceptible to fraud so I think it would be good. But otherwise, they have a clear and clean system for being able to pay and see your bills every month so overall I think it is a good service.
