I've never lived on campus but I've heard it is just a mess.

Living in the dorms was a bad experience roommate wise but a wonderful experience for learning to live with others, being close to class and on-campus when it came time to campus events. The dorms are new and some of the BEST in the Cal-State system.

In my opinion, it is way to expensive to live on campus in a dorm in a single unit, when for a few hundred more I can have my own one bedroom apartment off campus, or for less can rent a house with close friends. The random housing lottery made for a situation where I only got along with one suitemate, and the rest were unclean and often I found my food missing. The only positive thing about on campus, is that you are right there on campus and are able to get to class quickly. However, this can be done off campus, such as I have done- and am only a block away, so still close enough to campus where I do not consider it a "commute".

I don't live on campus. However, I do live right across and have seen some of the dorms. they are nice and clean. I live across the street from campus. Lots of students live off campus nearby. It's extremely affordable and you get if you're lucky you get to meet interesting new room mates.

Compared to many other state school, our dorms are great! They are spacious and many of them have kitchens, pool etc.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
