Our carrier services doesn't only help people graduating, they also help the kids attending. You may go and print out anything you need for free at anytime the school is open. Also they will help you create a resume and show you who is hiring in your field.

Nice and Flexible

The school works very well with your schedules. When you tell them your schedule they will try their best to work your classes around it. The teachers are very flexible anytime you need help they are there for you.

Overall a Good School

South Florida is overall a good school. All the people are very nice and the teachers are always willing to help you out. Coming from a big town like Orlando, my least favorite part about the school was the town it was located in. There was barley ever anything to do, so I was bored sometimes.

Typical

Typical of a community college, were the students right out of highschool mixed with the older groups between thier late 30's and early 50's. Many of these individuals priority was school.

Superior

All of my teachers were expectional & knowledgeable about their subject. Overall I feel that I learned a lot & that it was well worth the money spent.

Well Above Average

I have heard various rumors about taking college courses online vs in class was far more challenging. Yet, I felt that it was quite easy. The teacher was clear, consise, helpful, & available when I needed her. I also felt that the timeline was less strict as oppose to the scheduel of a regular in class subject.

Some Inconvienence

The amount of financial aid & grants that they assign are fair, yet setting up my account was frustrating. I was given the amount of money in my account in financial aid on a piece of paper & proceeded to spend that amount on my books. the next day i recieved a call from the school telling me that they made a mistake with the amount of money in my account & that i now owed them $300. this news was troubling & inconvient on many levels. Not only did it put a financial strain on me, but it also put a hold on my account that prevented me from doing the most simple things from obtaining a library card to viewing my grades.

The acedimics are great. They iffer classes at different times to best suit the students, they classes are passable with lots of studying

This school is always there to help students achieve their educational goals, classes are available in the morning or afternoon to fit students schedules, all staff is supportive and financial aid is available for those in need. Its a good colege to start off with.

Resources

I think we have AWESOME resources, we have a state of the art campus, the library has everything you could ever want/need, you can access it from your computer at home, there are many different activities to do on campus if you are in between classes, the campus is very clean nice and very up to date.

Majors

I love my major, it is nursing, I will apply after I transfer in the summer but as for now I am loving my prerequesites also, learning a lot.

Academic Experience

I have had a GREAT academic experience. My teachers are well versed in their subjects, they are very understanding if things happen with your family, you can ask them anything and they will work with you however, there are a few teachers that do not care about your schedule and will not work with you on anything but that is the case for all colleges I believe. You can start your education of any kind at our school. My study is nursing, I have begun my degree however I will transfer to a 4 year school to complete it so I can obtain my BS.

I take a lot of online classes so I do not have a lot of interaction with most of my classmates

Just Do It

To anyone looking forward to attending my university woud be to meet all deadlines try not to procratinte and ask for help because the staff is very very helpful with help those who needs to know there way around, Also the advising and couseling department is very helpful and will not rush students and will offer their best advice on each course. the education I have recived is well worth every penny and minute of time I have taken to get a better career.

Classes and Internship

My internsip experince didnt really give me a challenge and i would give it a grade of a D. The workload was at times jumblled toghetr haveng three classes and two requring research papers due in the same week same day. the work load for Industrial management is a bit overwhelming

More Professionalism from the Financial Aid Office

Its not every person in the finacial aid department but its about two financial aid assistants that have very bad attitudes and are extremely rude to people, I understand they interact with hundreds of students a day and keep a full work load but the more prfessional person will keep a smile on the outside and not take their personal problems or their frustrations from a long day out on anyone.

Not Many Options at My Satellite Campus

I am an English major, focusing on Creative Writing, and unfortunately my satellite campus does not offer any extra Literature courses that I can take. Not even the main campus has creative writing classes available.

Over-All a Good Experience

Aside from the problems I have had while being on a satellite campus, such as the lack of classes that I need, it has been a pretty good experience. It is a nice college to get your feet wet with, not over-whelming, and the professors are generally willy to help you in any way they can. I'm not sure if I would choose my college again, for the simple factor of the ease for finding the classes I need elsewhere, but it is still a good starting place.

Harder to Find Classes You Need on Satellite Campuses

Because of where I live, I am attending a satellite campus that doesn't offer an AA degree that can be customized to your needs. While they may/or may not off the classes you need at the main campus, it can be up to an hour drive. Other than that, I have had a pretty good experience with (mostly) professors who enjoy their job, and are very knowledgeable on the subject that they teach. The classes are smaller, so you may have to get involved a little bit more, but the professors are usually fun and willing to help.
