There is tons of diversity at our school. Everyone is very accepting to each other. It is easy to make friends and they are willing to help you.

The instructors and advisors are willing to answer any and all questions you may have. If they do not know the answer they will find it out for you. The classes meet once a week for 4 hours so it is easy to work my schedule around them.

I feel that the teachers are severely overqualified in the area that they are teaching.

So far there was a mix of younger and older people, family and working people. It was easy to socialize and make friends. As a older female I felt comfortable attending school.

I loved all my online courses , It was easy to balance with my full time job and family. I felt with online courses you get more work , than campus classes, but is it worth it.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I feel the education is good that I am getting, I have found out other places are cheaper, but I feel comfortable at South University, everyone is helpful.

The courses at South University-Tampa are usually around 5 weeks long. I find this to be great. It is definitely more workload, but it fits into my schedule better. Also, it gives you a shorter graduation time. They also offer online classes which helped with working a full time job.

In the nursing program, they are affiliated with large hospitals. This is very helpful in gaining job opportunities. Especially during the clinical phase of the program. I feel confident that the hospitals will give me and other a job opportunity while shadowing there.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
It is a bit expensive, but it is worth it. I like the small classroom sizes. I felt very comfortable asking questions with in the classroom. It was a lot easier to get to really know my professors. It was nice that they new you by your name and face, rather then just a paycheck.

I felt the professors I had wanted me to succeed. They all seemed to be very helpful in every aspect. Even if the problem did not pertain to the classroom, they would help you in any way possible to get the job done. It was always easy to get in touch with a professor, and they provided me with answers I needed. It was small classrooms, so I was able to ask questions and feel comfortable. They also were very helpful in the financial aid office, and trying their best to accommodate my needs. It is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. I loved my first semester here.

I'm not to pleased with the online library difficult to navigate for me.
College Sophomore 2013-09-06T01:41:11Z
Because some of the prerequisite courses are not online
College Junior 2013-09-03T18:24:27Z
The only thing I don't like about my school is that tuition is not charged per credit hour; it's fixed for part-time and full-time. You're paying the same amount whether you're taking 8 or 18 credits (full time), or 1-7 credits (part-time). Basically, you pay less if you can take more classes, but the trick is that most of the classes at graduate level you can't take together, because lower ones are prerequisites for higher ones. Majority of time you're stuck taking two classes (8 credits), and paying full tuition.

i have a hard time getting to school, so I have made several friends in school and they help me out by bringing me to school.

The reason I chose this school was not only for the flexibility but because this school offered the program I have wanted for a while. The Physician Assistant program.
College Sophomore 2013-08-29T18:02:59Z
At my school there are a variety of different people from older and younger people. There are both female and males also they have all nationality, and mostly they have no discrimination towards anybody.
College Sophomore 2013-08-27T13:01:24Z
Good environment. Only thing is the degrees are cheap. For all you pay you would think they would give better, fancier, more distinguished paper for the degrees. Looks like they were downloaded on a cheap copier.

No help with employment prospects. You need hands on experience.
