The student body at my school ranges from kids straight out of high school to older adults seeking a different career.

I have had a good experience thus far. My professors and advisers have been great to work. My school offers a vast curriculum.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I haven't had a problem at all. As long as you do your FAFSA every school year I don't think you will have a problem. I also love that I can charge my books to my financial aid before I actually receive it.

I have not had to use career services myself but I have received many emails asking if I need help finding a job or if I need a work-study program. I think this is great. They keep you in the loop!

I would much rather have a traditional classroom experience.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The tuition is fairly cheap since its a community college, but the financial aid always took forever to receive. One time I didn't get my money until after a month it was suppose to be sent out.

This is because our big grades come from doing huge paper projects but we are thrown out there with little to no help with to do exactly. They hardly show us any examples to go off of or anything, even with citing sources they don't show us whats right or wrong. But also at this school everyone is somewhat older and returning to have a chance of making something out of themselves.

Classes Are Mediocre – I'm a business major. The people in my class are very diverse. Therefore the pace isn't to extraneous, and the work load isn't to much. I enjoy being able to learn my material form teachers who are willing to teach it, while also not overwhelming you with the work load.

Network Is Good – Everytime I need to use the internet for anything, there are always computers available and I never have any problems with them.

General Ed Classes Are Typical – I am currently working towards my Associates in Science. I have all general education online classes so the class work is not as difficult as I had expected, but the difficult part is motivating myself to do the work. Some of my classes have been interesting, but others are kind of difficult because the teacher gives poor instructions and difficult test. I'm a full time student, so the workload is kind of rigorous, but nothing I can't handle.

Consider Transferring – I'm pretty indifferent about my school. I did not plan to be here this school semester. However, due to some last minute financial aid problems I ended up there. Maybe I would like my school more if I had to physically go to class, but I have all online classes. When I go to campus, everyone seems to just kind of be doing their own thing, and some of the staff just walk past me without even breaking a smile or taking any personal interest in me or other students. I absolutely loved my first advisor because she was very personal, but in the middle of the year they switched my advisor. I emailed him several times and he ignored me, I had to end up making several calls to finally get the answers I needed. So, in the fall I'm looking to transfer to another KCTCS school.

The Variety of Programs Available at BGTC Is Wonderful. The variety of programs is wonderful, however the information on how to get into a program and what classes you need to take before you can get into a specific program needs a little work. I wasted a whole semester on classes I didn't need because I was told I had to take them just to find out later that I didn't, which kept me from taking the classes that I really did need and had me getting into the program a whole year later.

There are many available campus resources for the students. There are over 1,000 computers in BGTC alone, and students have access wherever they go while on campus or in a building.Students have no excuse for assignments requiring a computer and can also use those resources regarding school processes.

Can Be on My Own Time – I love the class time flexibility. Because I get to choose the class I can place my classes around my time, and even some from home.

Business Program-Management – I am very satisfied with my choice to enter the BA program at Bowling Green, Tecnical College. The new program offers the opportunity for networking, being in a fortune five hundred company sponsered club (SIFE) and the opportunity to enhance skills and build on your abilities by hands on experiences, scenerios, and training. Love it! Thanks Mrs.M! You turned the BA program into one that could be considered a Bachelors Degree!

My Experience – Bowling Green Technical College, has been a blessing to me in so many ways. I have established a lot of hope. It has improved my knowledge, I love learning new and exciting new things. Everyone at the school is very helpful and friendly. I wouldn't change a thing about it or do anything differently. My overall fear is not being able to afford school but i believe the college has worked with me thus far. And I will continue to strive and go for the best and be the best that i can be.
