Tuition & Financial Aid:
I haven't had any problems so far. If I do have any questions the financial aid staff are always quick to help and easy to understand.

I love the small classrooms. You get a chance to know your instructors and fellow students better.

I believe that there is a broad range of subjects available to us. The instructors give us enough homework for us to learn but not to much to seem overwhelming.

I am enrolled for Business Administration with an Accounting Focus. I have been enrolled for 4 quarters so far and have learned a lot about accounting. The teachers are very helpful and are willing to work with you if you need help. There is also a free tutoring program available to all SCC students.

I have never been in the dorms but others seem to like it. The ground is layed out very well and looks nice. The classrooms are average classrooms.

I haven't taken any online courses so I wouldn't know how to rate an online instructor

The student body in our school should be much more involved than he is right now. The first month i didn't even know we had a student body.

I have yet to take a online class. Although i can say that it was pretty simple and fun to take online quizzes in some classes.

In our school we have a new building that it is dedicated only for science and math courses. another section of the school is dedicated only for arts and another only for literature courses. If i had the chance to change something it would be the boring picture-less walls of the school.

The availability of computers and the resources found in computer centers are excellent. However, the network reliability and wireless access can become and issue regarding the logging out every two hours and having to fill out an entire log in page every time you are disconnected from the server.

I like how the library has a huge no talking section. however, the best equip center is the science resource center. It has huge cell models along with a wall covering whiteboard and several cozy chairs surrounding big oval shape tables.

In some classes there are some professors that one can say that are "laid back". I hope the professors especially in the art department take more hands on activities and less dull paper work of a piece. Workshops could be a little better by determining the classes average speed and going along with that speed.

In all majors it is required to be the best of the best. This way you will have a better chance of working for your dream job. My classes required for my major are a lot of science and math courses. It is also the up most important to obtain a very well GPA so you can meet the expectations of some medical schools.

I don't have any complaints. I don't use anything at the school really besides the library which is fine. A bit loud for studying.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The education that I am getting at Southeast Community College is well worth the money I am receiving from financial aid. I get a little bit of money which helps pay for my books and other supplies that I can't afford on my own. I have learned that filling the FAFSA is a hassle, but it is definitely worth it. I know that by getting help from the government I will get to pursue the education I want and have the career I have always dreamed of. I wish my school would motivate students more often so they could fill out the FAFSA and get free money.

Work Study Program – My school offers a work study program. This allows students who need to earn money to work at the school and earn money for tuition. Also, students in the work study program are able to do their homework while they are working, so they don't get behind in classes.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
There are financial aid workshops for students that need help filling out their fafsa. Financial aid usually pays for most of the tuition, but I usually have to pay for all of my textbooks and a portion of my tuition. Also, you have to make sure you get your fafsa turned in on time each quarter or you may not get the money by the time you need it.

Don't Worry About It – At my school, you don't have to worry about not fitting in. You can become friends and talk to anybody. No one judges you because you are different. It's very welcoming.
