The network is great and easy to use. Computers are somewhat outdated in the CADD department and are struggleing to run the software required for the class. The computers in the library and computer lab are up to par for students other than CADD students.

Southeast has a great library that is comfortable to study/ research in. The computer labs are nice too. There is no athletic center. The student center is a clean and friendly enviroment. Not many campus activities that appeal to me but something is usually going on every week.

All the information you need to aquire is easily made available. From financial aid to transfer advising. Facilites are up to date. Constodial staff keeps a clean enviroment. Computers in the CADD lab are a little outdated and struggle with the autodesk software but students are able to complete assignments in a orderly fashion. The Student Government Association gives the students unique opportunities to be involved with the community.

I understand what we were learning about, and how to use these things as a working electrician on the daily job.

the campus life for me is the best. Im from a small town so I like small schools that are laid back and easy going but still are there to teach you what your there to learn. and that's exactly what my teachers at my college do. the small town atmosphere also allows you to be closer to your teachers and if you need extra help or attention in a course, they are able to help.

ive not used the career center because I have not yet completed my course however I am sure that when the time comes, they will provide all the essential information that I need to start my career.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
the education that I am receiving is well worth the pay or I wouldn't have come back. I mean having cancer at such a young age has opened my eyes to what I want and where I want to be. southeast can and is helping me to achieve that however im not able to attend school and work due to my past illness but I missed the deadlines for financial aid options and because of that theres not much they can do for me.

My school/program has worked with me very well. I first transferred from Cumberland college and they excepted my credits with no problem. however last year I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer and had to take a sick leave in may 2012. I was in the xray program which is very hard to get into and even harder to get back in to if you leave but my teachers gracefully welcomed me back. however it wasn't until the end of the summer that I fully felt that I was healthy/strong enough to go back so I missed any chances for grants/scholarships and now im just trying to apply for anything I can to make up for it and make ends meet.

This school is not very far from my house which makes getting here no problem. The requirements for each class I have taken have been clearly defined at the begining of each class. If you have a problem go and talk with your instructor, they have always been willing to help in almost every situation.

Everyone I have met or had classes with have been very accepting of others no matter what race religion or sexual preference they may have. I am very pleased to have met the people I have met and hope to continue having a friendly relationship with each one

This schools resources are very reasonable for the size of this school. The library is available all the time along with the librarians who are always willing to help. The bookstore has everything needed for any class you are taking with helpful staff. I have not met anybody who works at this school who is not friendly and willing to help.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The education I am getting is worth what the cost of tuition is at this school. The process of financial aid is a simple process with the help of the financial aid advisors. I just wish they would tell students about all of the scholarships available to them.

When I transfer to a larger university next semester, I plan on double majoring in broadcast journalism and communication. The communication and journalism courses I've taken at Southeast were excellent, and I know I'm prepared for what lies ahead. For anyone interested in the College of Arts, I give it an A+!

SKCTC uses the newest version of Blackboard for online classes and other classes that require you to submit work online. It often messes up, forcing teachers to excuse assignments. It's also a hassle to change your password from home!

I work two jobs, and I still find it easy to go to class and complete the assignments.

The acedemic experience just seems like high school to me. I enjoy it but it really isnt a huge change. The teachers are helpful and you can communicate with them easily.

I am a biology major. The work that i have been given gives me a lot of information that i didnt know and it is also hard work. Assignments are productive and none of it is really busy work. All the work is in preparation for exams. I have taken anatomy classes to start off my biology major and it is very informational and helpful.

Pretty Flexible – I chose this school because it was closest to where I live. There are some advisors on campus that will attend to every question or outlook a student has, but there are a few who just see it as a job. I haven't transferred yet, but I hear it is easy to transfer credits because the school works with a bunch of other schools.

You Get Use to It – Starting online courses was at first difficult, however now that I know the way around the account and am able to access online classes easily. At first I was confused about how it worked, deadline dates etc. but, the online instructors are great with maps of the course and helping me with any questions I have had.

Undergraduate for Spring Semester.. I am afirst time student, and at 27, it's a little scary, but I am excited to have the opportunity to better the lives of my children and myself by advancing my goals and career!

Tuition & Financial Aid:
SKCTC has fairly low tuition costs compared to other schools.

Pretty Happy – SKCTC has been really great for me, and I don't know where I'd be without it. It has been a great college to start out at.

Online Learning – with the help of professors, I've enjoyed my online classes.
College Junior 2011-08-28T23:33:56Z
More Flexibility – It may be a little harder for some types of learners, but you have alot more flexibility in when you read/or do your assignments. You can get online for class, 24 hours a day, but if you have to be at work or maybe, a doctor's appointment during your offline class, you can't be there. Also, there is no need to worry about transportation problems.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
