Greek life is always expanding and growing and growing on campus. They throw plenty of parties along with fundraiser events.

The Greeks at my school are generally good people. They're usually always trying to raise money for something or are hosting something fun. You don't hear much about partying although I know some are more known for it than others. I would consider it if I had the time and money. It seems like a good thing to be a part of.

Greek life is most likely for events such as parties and organizations, which does not include me. It seems like a big deal because seems it is rated as a status. But, everyone has fun when they have parties, etc. The social atmosphere is great.

Greek life is a little different at Southeastern. At SELU, almost half of the student body are Greeks. The Greeks are always holding events to get the campus involved in school, cleaning the campus and having safe fun for everyone. Most people think that Greek life is only for stuck-up people, which is completely untrue. Many different types of people are in Greek Life and love it. Frats and sororities help you to meet people and get involved. The bonds that are developed in Greek Life are bonds for life.

Greek students are very active in events on campus. You don't see too many crazy parties because it's an alcohol free campus and the Greek students are, for the most part, expected to be role models. Being in a frat or sorority isn't so much as a status symbol as it is for making connections and being active both on campus and in the community.
