The dorms are nice but not big. The girls' dorms are a lot more crowded. There is a curfew, which a lot of people don't like.

Campus dorms at Southern Adventist University are very reasonable. They are relatively nice when it comes to the size of the rooms and have very good upkeep. Dorms are separated by gender and the opposite gender is not allowed in each others rooms except on granted occasions. Both male and female dorms come with entertainment rooms, kitchenettes and laundry rooms. The female dorm has suite style room arrangements with 2 rooms and a shared bathroom among 4. The male dorm uses communal showering areas. Dorms are located in the middle of campus with helps with walking distance. There are also apartments available on campus for upperclassmen.

I'm use to having my own space. It's not always at it's cleanest, but they keep it pretty clean most days. They have a very reasonable curfew, especially for someone whose going to school and trying to stay focus.

Personally I live off campus. Many students though do not like the dorm assigned to freshmen. Upper class students have very nice dorms, apartments. Overall, the school is welcoming, loving, friendly. The school is working in remodeling the old dorms.

leaveing home for the first time you feel a sense of independent along with fear. As the only child home and most of the time alone, my fear was living in the dorm where i have to share all the amenities including the room. My first week was a bit frightning but the social atmosphere was great student were friendly and helpful i soon fit in. The food is costly but i learn how shop and is best. I enjoy the amenities it a great campus i feel at home now.
