Southern being a university, there is a good amount of diversity here in all aspects. However, Southern is predominantly Caucasian as is my current roommate. I am Hispanic, so it can be difficult feeling like I am really accepted or not.

I am an online student. I believe the diversity is great. It is a religious affiliated campus so that comes into play.

There are people of various different races at Southern. Everyone is accepted on this bases as well as economic background. As for sexual orientation and religion, these issues is more controversial and not openly acceptable. While a different religious background is more acceptable, most people with a different sexual orientation than what is viewed as normal, feel inclined to hide and/or deny it.

Here at Southern, one may almost find someone from each state or country. There are Vietnamese, Australians, English, Russians, Nigerians, Brazilians, and so many other nationalities. There are people from California to Georgia. Everyone is humble. There's no social barriers. We love God.

There are many people of different races and ethnicities. There is also a very wide range of where students originally are from (places all over the country). The campus is primarily adventist, since it is an Adventist school. I am not adventist, but do feel welcome on campus. At times, I do feel a little out of the loop though. Overall, a fairly diverse campus.
