Computer Labs Everywhere

There are computer labs in every building on campus at SIUC most are 24 hours.The Student Center and Morris Library allow students to reserve personal laptops. Sometimes the computer labs get over crowded but only during finals week but you can always find a spot.Not having your own personal laptop or printer should not be a big problem.

House/Frat Parties Are Better

The Nightlife at SIUC is for students that are 21 or older.There are a lot bars and clubs were you only have to be 19 or older to get into but house/frat parties are better.Because, they are usually free,close to campus, and better music.The Kappas throw the best parties.

Forensic Science Program and Research

Southern Illinois University Carbondale is home to the Southern Illinois Forensic Science Center.Only school in the state of Illinois that offers Forensic Science as a minor.Also, SIUC is very well known for being a research school.With over $70 million awarded in research grants.
