The transfer office isn't much help so it's best to know where and what you want to do. The woman tried to steer me away from Unity College because it was private and more money. With all my scholarships they have given me it's the same cost as SMCC.

My employer has tried using the school to attract applicants, and it is problematic because the school takes so long to approve anything; it takes a month for them to put an ad up. This is unfortunate because my employer has positions that are excellent for student schedules. I think looking on your own is preferable, though some career programs may have specific connections to local employers.

Great school better campus, decent teachers. I had two job offers when I graduated and many recommendations from my teachers.

The Quality of Post-Grad Services at SMCC – In the Early Childhood center, as well as the career center, there is postings of teaching and nannying jobs avalible for students who are graduated, it is very helpful. Also it is helpful for decieding on what I would like to do, the staff is wonderful with helping find places to do internships.

Career Center – I have been to the career a few times, and they have been helpful, but they have a lot of students coming to them all the time so you have to know exactly what you want to ask and make sure you don't leave until you get your answer.
