typical financial-aid procedures. thankfully smu has a big endowment so they are willing to give need base however, they do stick you with loans too.

SMU Finances

Compared to other schools, SMU gives a lot of financial aid. But I don't know if that offsets the increasing tuition every year, and expensive on campus living.

Most Students Get Aid

The vast majority of students acquire scholarships upon entering SMU. To get the most, be sure to apply for "Early Action", as that qualifies you for more scholarship funds. The Financial Aid office is very easy to work with and always seems to know what they're doing (especially when it comes to loans).
