Ok because, the bus is free for student just show I.D., however, the wait is long just know when the bus comes, because if you miss it may be another 30-45 minutes if not longer. Freshmen, aren't allowed a vehicle their first year but after that its okay. the bus line runs throughout the city and to some places on the outskirts too.

Public Transportation at Southern University & A&M College is very good and very easy. We have Shuttles that will take you to your off campus apartments, Mall, Library, and your resident on campus. The transportation also runs late for those who have night classes. You can all the Shuttle bus to pick you up and bring you anywhere on campus.

The transportation at SU is great. Every ten minutes, there is a bus coming back to the dorms. They also have a shuttle van that comes around from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. They are always available and never deny you help.

The bus comes every 15 minutes from 7am until 4pm. However, it only makes a couple of stops and they aren't always close to your class. After those hours, you can call the University Shuttle, however it does take about 15-20 minutes to come.
