It was a good experience but after finding out after you reach your 5th year of getting financial aid you will not get anymore is hard. I am a single mom and a fulltime student and need the funds to finish college.

I can go anywhere to eat here in Weatherford and be satisfied. From McDonald's to Boomtown Grill to Lavie Garden, there are tons of places to chose from.

Facilities here are very average, but I was always raised to make do with what you have or play the cards you're dealt. I'm not complaining at all, but the campus isn't state of the art.
College Freshman 2013-10-29T01:14:08Z
Weather does not really affect anything on campus.
College Freshman 2013-10-29T01:13:03Z
The parking is very convenient anywhere I go.

I like the small town feel and you can see that in the dining and eating in the town.
College Junior 2013-10-24T14:27:46Z
There is really not any transportation at SWOSU. Mainly due to everything is in walking distance.
College Junior 2013-10-24T14:26:39Z
I really like the weather there to living in about the same all my life. However it is so windy most of the time and changes from hot to cold or cold to hot randomly.

Since being in a small town, the campus is the main attraction! Everything here is maintained properly and there is always something to do. There might not be many big events, but any little thing you do at SWOSU becomes a memory. The best part of the campus probably has to be the athletic center and the library. Everyone meets new people there and study or workout with each other even if students had just met. The only downside is that the food. There is not that many choices besides "fast food" and something similar to high school food.

Being a CAB member, you would see a lot of international and out of state students. However, due to being in a western Oklahoma small town, the student body is dominated by white, republican, christian students. We have churches (branches of Christianity) all around the campus, but no other religions. Everyone is accepted and smiles at each other, but there is still the invisible barrier.

Good food in the cafeteria. Few options when it comes to other food.

There are computer labs in every building. Access is available everywhere. Free printing.

They were very helpful and explained things great.

Very happy with my program however I think since I'm already working as an RN it is ridiculous to have to take so many extra classes for my BSN. We should only have to take the program classes. It is a waste of time and expensive

Guys & Girls:
SWOSU has a large variety of students that come from all walks of life. Small towns, cities, foreign countries, everywhere. No matter who you are, you're going to find somewhere you fit in.

If there is one thing I can say about SWOSU, it's that we have school spirit. I don't really go to any games simply because I don't have the time. However, the few times I have gone, I had fun, which is saying something because I hate sports.

I'm really not the partying kind of person. I don't take out student loans, so whatever I don't make in scholarships I work for. I'm also trying to get into law school. Therefore, I spend most of my time studying and working.

I am not in the education department as of right now I'm just working on my basics but I am very close to alot of people in the department and they all love it! The teachers I've met are extremely nice and sweet. I am concerned about being able to find a good school to teach at after graduating but I'm so excited to work with children
College Sophomore 2013-07-24T22:45:15Z
With my education major I will be able to sit in at the local school this upcoming semester but not be paid for it. Sitting in is part of an education class that I will be taking and students in the class will just be observing the different roles

Guys & Girls:
Everyone is very expressive with how they feel and through how they dress. I love the environment there
College Sophomore 2013-07-20T15:56:27Z
In the grill food does not appeal to the eye and usually cold. However the cafeteria attains to offer a variety of different foods I don't expect everyday to be Heaven but they try to make it close. I love the fact that our flex dollars work in the C-store and book store so it doesn't limit us to buying food only.

Varsity sports are kind of a big deal. The school isn't overwhelmed with sports activities but there is still a sense of school pride. The facilities are a little above average but have room to improve both for athletes and non-athletic students.
College Junior 2013-07-09T00:26:24Z
The school is small and there isn't much parking. If you want to park close to your buildings come early. You never have to walk really far but when it is snowing or raining and you parked down the street it feels further then it really is.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
