There are not a lot of school activities. However there is plenty of academic help and resources such as a library and access to tutors.

The curriculum is great and the workload is fairly heavy. However this is offset by the almost simple seeming exams.

I am a philosophy major and the classes are challenging and thought provoking. I am not to crazy about having to take general education classes, but this has nothing to do with the school. Mostly, I don't like having to take classes that I do not find as interesting as classes in my field of interest.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
This can be a really pain in the butt! The first year I was here I had a student loan that didn't come in on time for the payment due date so i got dropped from my classes and had to resign up for my classes and then pay for my classes out of my own darn pocket, even though I was told personally that things would be fine, I wasn't going to be dropped. This was a very aggravating process

Some of the teachers could make it a little easier to learn. The class size makes it easier but the material that is being taught can be difficult, so sometimes a different approach needs to be taken by the teacher to teach the material. so maybe the teacher should take some suggestions from some students every once and a while. Also, why do the books have to be so outrageously expensive? No one honestly has that kind of money to pay for tuition for one then to turn around and pay for the books! You have to be CRAZY! Other than that my over all experience at Spoon has been good.

The resources are readily available. If you have trouble you can look for a staff member and they will point you in the direction you need to go.

I chose this grade because I can work and go to school.

I would really hope more professors get involved with more student activities and just interacting with the students more.

Career Center – I have not graduated yet so I can not say whether or not the post-grad services are superb.

Most of my school consists of older adults who are finally deciding to obtain a degree. There are are few students who are my age. Alot of the older students are friendly and happy to be there becuase they are making a life changing decision and obtaining a career they've dreamed of having.

My Experiences at SRC – I really do like this school. Before I came here, I was able to take college classes because they offered dual credit classes at my high school. The teachers are fair and my classes are challenging.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
