I love living on campus because the community is really great, especially in Lowell the dorm I live in. however, some people don't like how old and small Lowell is. Yes all the dorms are pretty small but I would take community over comfort any day.

There are a lot of different options and because SAU is so small, the community is great amongst the dorms. The villages become a little less social, though.

I LOVE living on campus. The dorms are great and full of community. I live in Gainey, which is my favorite because it has large rooms and each room has their own central air. Lowell is great for artzy types, because they are always doing pinterest crafts. Muffit is good for long lasting friendships and for relationships with the guys from Ormeston, who are great and wonderful guys. If you're a nerd, Ormston is for you guys. If you're more of a sporty guy, you'll want Andrews Hall, which is what I would pick if I was a guy due to it's personal gym, game room, and theatre room. There are also apartments, the Villages which are kinda like condos, and K-houses, which is where you rent a house with your best 14 or so girl or guy friends. These latter options are for upperclassmen. It's expensive to live on campus, but the atmosphere is amazing and totally worth the cost in the relationships you'll build.

The newer dorms in Spring Arbor University are great. I lived in University Hall, now Andrews Hall, my Freshman year. They have Bose System theater upstairs and a great gym in the basement. And the dorm rooms are very spacious.

Depending on where you live and how new the building is would effect the grade given. For girls: Gainey is the newest dorm options, its nice and big and still smells great. Lowell is the next option, its older but still decent. It offers suite style rooms so that is the appeal of Lowell. Muffet is the oldest and smallest but also said to have the most community and I fully agree. Everything goes the same for the boys. Andrews hall being the newest and nicest and Ormston being similar to Muffet. Other options are K-houses, apartments, and Villages.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
