I think this campus is good for those technical programs and certifications. It is a community college after all. It's a good school to go to if your not quite sure what you want to do with your life. It's good for people that are older and returning to school for a different quick education. Workload in classes is average but some classes have way to many papers to write.

It recently became a military friendly school which is awesome. I don't think there is much that really stands out about this campus. There isn't any special programs that other schools don't have.

Athletic departments is kind of boring I guess. There sports are not something people know about because it is only a community college. I never hear about games. Clubs are hard to hear about. I don't think there is many around. The first one I heard about was from my environment class teacher. It has an amazing tutor center thought. There is always people in there and tutors around. It really does help. The parking lot is another bad thing about this school. It's not very big and sometimes it takes a while to find a parking space. They are doing construction on one part of the school and its parking lot so hopefully it gets better.

The campus has computers available to all the students in many areas of the school. I think the laptops they provide for students in class when test are electronic need to be updated. The computer lab computers are very nice and they have Apple and Window computers. Sometimes the copy and printers are confusing but they're is always someone around to help. I don't like the fact that you have to pay to print, copy, and fax. School is already expensive.

I took online classes because of my job and time complications. I think the online classes are organized and easy to follow but sometimes confusing because you're basically teaching yourself. I love the classroom classes because you can associate with other students and the teachers. Registration was simple. The advisors are really helpful and are always accessible. I think most of the teachers are very fair graders. The teachers are down to earth and they realize students have life outside of school and homework.

I love the diversity at my school. So many different ages and races, so its really nice to be not with all teenagers. The teachers are also really nice and we have small classes.

I haven't graduated yet, but so far they do help you out with finding a job. They have an online job site that has helped me alot with finding some good quality jobs. They also help you with your resume if you need any help. I really like it and find it very useful.

I was taking classes I needed to acquire my Associates Degree in liberal arts and sciences. I did my best in the classes, but to think of it, I could have put more effort into getting a higher grade. It's just that I get bored around the end of each semester that I start getting little lazy. If I didn't get bored, I would probably have gotten a higher gpa.

The course load for the program I am in currently is "just right". I have class 3 mornings a week, which leaves plenty of time for homework, work, and fun. We really don't have internships per-say. But we do work with many different facilities. I am a paramedic student, so I "ride along" with various ambulance services, help out in various parts of the hospital, all as a part of the educational experience. My instructor told us that it is basically a two year long interview for a job.

I love the "Center for Academic Success" or also known as the "CAS" center. The CAS center is a great place to study and get very knowledgable tutoring if you need it! The CAS center is where I got the most out of my studies.

I had a slight problem with the financial aid office, to me they seemed a little un-organized. But the classes and programs themselves are great, if the program your going into or are interested in is going to be tough and time consuming they let you know, and they give tips on how you can go through school and work and still have time for your family too. The biggest asset at SCTCC is communication. They will work with you if you are willing to communicate with them.

Very well organized! Grades where posted quickly and the teacher's grading method was even and fair. Loved it!

Overall the student body loves to work together, and are eager to learn. I enjoy how well mannered they are/can be. But some of the students feel like they are "above" the rest of the student body, so watch out! But hey, you get that with every school.

I love the online set up the SCTCC has. It is easy to navigate and communicate with peers and teachers. When I have online courses I don't have to travel but am able to have the same access to my teachers, sometimes even better.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The education I am receiving is well worth what I am paying out. The added advantage is this school has a high placement rate after graduation. Applying for and receiving your financial aid is easy and the people that work there are so helpful.

There are plenty of computer labs available to students during all school hours. There are people there in case you need help with anything; pretty much. We are also provided with access to the printer. I had to print out an assignment once and it was really confusing, but like i said, there is usually someone there who are more than willing to help.

This grade was the result of not being properly prepared for what was soon to come. I was unfamiliar with the resources that were being offered. Now that i have failed this class I have learned a valuable lesson, which is to utilize all that is offered. We have a tutoring center, which i was aware of, just not where it was located, or how to go about using it. I really like the fact that everyone is automatically assigned to a student adviser. And knowing that they are available during the day everyday is a huge help. My biggest complaint about the school is how vague they are during registration about all the programs they have to offer. Everything else is pretty much up to par.

With a focus on have QUALIFIED INSTRUCTORS make a world of change. having come from a "for-profit" college and having to start over seeing that people who had and still do in many case work in my field helped a lot.

I have my degree in A.C.T Architectural Construction Technology the only thing that would hold me back form giving a A++ is i wish there were more 2+2 options for this program and many others for that fact i know that getting 2+2's are difficult but it would be nice.although there are not a lot of 2+2's ehre there are not a lot of schools that wont take class form here and SCtcc gives you the flexibility to build your transfer to make it smooth. but other then that I would tell any one that is starting over or just getting started to take a strong look at SCTCC for that next step in life.

It is top notch. I only give it a B because there aren't enough seats in the program available to fit the need. Many people are turned away, however this may be a good thing. Weeding out the weak.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
