The biggest complaint from both guys and girls on members of the opposite sex is that they act like they are still in high school. The guys feel they can have all the girls on campus, and the girls take school as a fashion show. Also, gossip seems to run rampant like a game of telephone with school children. Guys say that girls refuse to get serious about classes, and girls say that guys can’t get beyond immature pranks and stupid jokes. There is much bitterness between some members of the opposite sex.
But one thing for students to remember is that they are still young! They are young adults, and despite the stress of school, these will probably be the best times of their lives. This is a time where everyone can start fresh. If you were a social misfit in high school, now is your chance to do things differently. Finding a serious relationship at St. John’s can, at times, be hard, but it’s not impossible. Finding a weekend hookup is significantly easier, though.

Not Too Hot
There aren't many "hot" students here. Many do not have much style here. Many do not look like they try to look nice. Many are quite awkward. However, the friends I did make here are awesome.

While there are many students who simply hook up, relationships are also very prevalent at St. John’s.
The best places to meet guys or girls on campus is usually through an organization or one of the campus-sponsored parties. Other than that, the cafeterias and lounges are probably the best place.
St. John's accepts all kinds of dress styles because of its diversity. You will find people dressed in Prada, Gucci, punk wear, and prep. Whatever makes the individual feel comfortable goes.
