The facilities at St. John's are, for the most part, very nice. Carnesecca Arena and the St. Augustine Library have both been renovated. They are up-to-date and incredibly nice. Also notable is Taffner Field House, a state-of-the-art recreation gym for both athletes and regular students. The classrooms and other facilities at St. John’s are all in great shape, with the exception of Marillac Hall. The D'Angelo Center houses organizations, a coffeehouse, and many other things.

St. John's is investing heavily in updating and adding new facilities to campus. While some of the older buildings show some wear and tear, most agree that the facilities around campus are adequate. The school does a good job of trying to provide new additions, as well.

St. John's University Service Day St. John's University Service Day St. John's University is a Vincentian University and partakes in many service events. Here is a photo where many students (greek organizations mostly but other orgs too) got together and we each went out for the day in groups and provided services to our communities. My group went to a nursing home where we played games with the elderly. The girls and I did the female patients nails!
