St. Olaf certainly has its fair share of attractive and eligible young guys and girls. Heterosexual gentlemen take note: There are more women than men. However, despite what some uninformed students may say, the ratio is definitely not two girls for every guy. The ratio is actually 1.4 girls for every boy, but it's unsure what one would do with two-fifths of a girl, and as has been said before, everyone only gets one person at a time.
Sorry kids, but it is common knowledge that Oles don't know how to casually date one another. Why this is so remains a mystery. There is actually a popular rumor on campus that something like 30 percent of Olaf graduates marry other Olaf graduates—this is not true. Oles don't marry other Oles any more often than the University of Minnesota students marry other University of Minnesota students, but for some incomprehensible reason, many people on campus act as if they're looking for husbands and wives rather than boyfriends and girlfriends.
