Really Really Expensive
It's Palo Alto. Apartments are hard to come by and very expensive. There is a reason almost everybody lives on campus

Lacking Underage Nightlife
If you have no car, not good. If you're under 21, not that great. Campus parties need more room to dance and better djs. But if you go with very fun people, then it is worth it.

Pricy, but Can Be Fun
Palo Alto is definitely not a college town. It's very expensive and everything closes early. Most students head there to celebrate birthdays or have a "nice" gathering with friends, but by the time you're a sophomore you would rather make the trip to San Francisco.
