Stanly Community College office staff and advisors/instructor really care about their students. I get personal attention from them. I'm in the Cyber Crime Technology department and my advisor/instructor is my Yoda. I can call up him whenever I'm having problems with assignments/labs. I'm glad I chose SCC's CCT program!

I take classes 100% online. We use Moodle. Our servers rarely go down. If I ever have problem, I just call the helpdesk. I've toured the campus once and I was impressive with our computer labs

I'm an online student. We have access 24-hour tutoring service. In fact, my advisor/instructor gave me his personal cell phone number just in case I needed help from him. Our library is totally accessible via the web. The financial office is awesome. I can always call them for any issues. The staffer at Stanly treat you like family.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I received my financial aid award letter from the college quickly, but every time I have tried to accept it, there is another "qualification" that I haven't done to receive it then. There seems to be no letter or place to check what all I have to do to actually get the aid so it can all be done at one time.

On site registering is a very painful process. In-person communications is the best way to get anything done. E-mail communication is decent. The online class system, however, is not something that I would use again. Many crashes, assignments and/or emails not submitting, and the lack of any navigational ease make the system in need of an overhaul.
