A-
Not Too Shabby
Housing at Stetson University is not as bad as people say it is. A few of the dorms are very old and have mold or mildew problems. The laundry facilities are all great in the dorms and free. Every dorm room comes with a bed, bedside table, and a full size desk. For freshmen, Conrad was the best hall for women. There was never an issue of the bathroom being crowded. Also the rooms are actually pretty big, larger than most on campus. Worst options would probably be Smith or Gordis if you want to actually pass your classes. These dorms are coed but separated by floor so you might have rowdy boys or party girls living above you. For students who want to party, Emily hall is where you want to be. Chaudoin is an all female hall that is huge. If you don't mind being surrounded by massive amounts of estrogen all the time, then Chaudoin is a good choice. Beware that half of Chaudoin is suites and the other half is community bath when signing up for housing. They also have a really nice laundry facility.
Stetson hall is old, but it is in the center of campus and anything on campus is a short walk away. Also, every room in Stetson is a suite. Stetson is coed, but all suitemates are of the same gender. Stetson used to house Honors but they are now in Nemec hall. Nemec hall will also have the global learning village and the pet dorm. These are both new housing concepts for 2010-2011 school year so we'll see how that goes.
Housing is pretty easy to get, but can be expensive. Off campus housing doesn't really save you a whole lot of money either though many upperclassmen do so. I personally like the smaller halls like Conrad, Stetson, and Carson-Hollis better than Chaudoin, Gordis, or Smith.
