The College may give credits to students who score at or above certain levels on CLEP, DANTES, or AP exams, or other recognized certifications.
Transferring Credits In & Out
Credits will only be transferred into SHC if you receive them from another accredited institution that is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. The course previously taken must be comparable with SHC's courses.
Typical Session Length
Courses are organized into "modules." Each module is four weeks long. A term consists of four modules, or 16 weeks. There are three full terms per year.
Class Style & Structure
There are four types of courses at SHC: traditional, asynchronous online (work can be done anytime), synchronous online (must log in at specific times), and hybrid.
