The computer labs usually crowded at crunch times, like midterms and finals, but besides that, you can always find a spot. All undergraduate students are given their own computers, and with WiFi. You are also given a printer upon entrance into the university so printing shouldn't be a hassle.

Stevens gives everyone their own laptop computer, either a Windows (HP) or a Mac depending on the major. They also give all engineers and science students all of the software they will need for their classes. There is a 4 year warranty on all computers, parts can be replaced as needed. The Help Desk can solve most software issues, but they do not always give you a temporary computer to work on while they are fixing problems. Wifi goes down on occasion but they work quickly to solve issues. Printing isn't free, but most classes use electronic submissions.

I'm not sure if you've seen online, but all incoming students get a state of the art laptop. That's not all though, you get the laptop for actual work purposes, so it comes preloaded with thousands of dollars worth of software including Solidworks, AutoCAD, Matab, and many more.

Each freshman coming into Stevens receives a laptop of high capability. These laptops are equipped with all the programs you need for classes, like SolidWorks, MatLab, and other such software. I know that Art & Technology majors get a Mac with their own specified programs. Also, each freshman receives a printer and a mouse.
If you ever need help with your laptop, just go to the IT Help Desk, located below the library. They are usually super helpful.
