I've been living in New Jersey for my entire life. It's difficult to gauge my like or dislike of the climate here when I've grown up with it.

Honestly, the weather was very predictable and normal; the summers are hot, but not too hot, and the winters are cold but not too cold, and maybe just a tad on the windy side during the winter. However, what really caused an uproar was hurricane Sandy. This type of weather is unpredictable, but is still a factor and does cause problems.

Typical Northeastern weather. Cold and rainy for most of the school year, except throw in a lot of wind from being on a cliff next to the Hudson. Sandy was an interesting experience, although we weren't particularly affected by it.

Definitely not Jersey Beach weather. Gets very cold and rainy, so be sure to bring a pair of boots. Also gets oppressively warm and humid in the summers, being next to the Hudson. Older dorms not being equipped with air conditioning makes for a miserable experience.

Here in Stevens, especially by the Howe Building, it gets pretty windy. When there's a huge storm with lots of rain, the city might get flooded, which makes it difficult to get to campus. However, it's usually nice; you get to experience the entire four seasons.
