Until recently, Stevenson University was just a small liberal arts college. The school upgraded to University status, and it's kept its primary programs up to par. While most degrees have a liberal arts foundation, the academics here are well-rounded, diverse, and strong. Stevenson's strongest areas of study are education, nursing, and paralegal studies. In fact, the paralegal studies program was the first in the state accepted by the American Bar Association. No matter what the subject or major, Stevenson University faculty is always available to help the students. Most teachers respond to emails within hours and some even give out their cell phone numbers. As a result, the professors are extremely accessible and personable.

Stevenson University's courses are an appropriate level of difficulty for college. Teachers often say that for every hour of class time students should spend one hour studying and doing homework. If the workload becomes too difficult, tutors are available. Some courses also have upper level students assisting with study and tutoring sessions. There is also an online, 24/7 homework-help program for students to use that includes a live chat interface with certified tutors. With so many opportunities for success, even a huge workload from procrastination can be conquered with a little help from the school.
