Stevenson University has two campuses, one of which has a large number of eateries within walking and driving distance. The Owings Mills campus is on top of a hill surrounded with restaurants. Outback Steakhouse and Bonefish Grill are great options for when parents come to visit and want to go out to dinner. The joint Baskin Robins and Dunkin' Donuts is a big hit with many students when it comes to late night ice cream and snack needs around finals. From Five Guys to Caribou Coffee, if there is a food chain in Maryland, it has a location around Owings Mills.

Many students walk to the bottom of the hill for lunch, since many of the eateries have outdoor seating available, which is great for sunny days. Most of the food is extremely affordable, and all of the restaurants and take-out places welcome the business of Stevenson University students. There is even a grocery store within walking distance, although most students drive or carpool to it. There are not a lot of upscale restaurants; the fanciest restaurant within walking distance is Outback Steakhouse. Unfortunately, there are not many off-campus dining options on the other campus, but students rarely go out to lunch from that campus and opt to either bring food or use the on-campus dining facilities. There is a microwave available for student use in the on-campus dining facility for students who bring their own food.
