The SUNY Fredonia campus has a lot of diversity for such a small school. The campus is host to many international students throughout the year. The average student at Fredonia comes from a middle-class family and grew up in a suburban area. However, there are students that come from all parts of the country and have different backgrounds that contribute to SUNY Fredonia’s diverse population. One amazing thing about SUNY Fredonia is that no matter what kind of background or culture a student comes from, he or she is always accepted and supported by the campus community.

There are also many organizations representing the different cultures that are found on campus. Some of these organizations include the Black Student Union, Latinos Unidos, the Jewish Student Union, and the Pride Alliance. All of these organizations are very active on campus and put on events throughout the school year. No matter what a student’s background is, there is a place for him or her on the SUNY Fredonia campus.
