Because the campus is situated in between the Finger Lakes in a valley wireless availability is sometimes difficult. The network reliablity on campus is pretty good. Campus allows for a printing budget, and it's reasonable.

The computers here make a simple printing job 9325730 times harder than it should be. Some computers don't connect to the printers, so I always end up logging into multiple computers just to print something. And sometimes you can't even log into the computers because they take FOREVER to load… I guess that's what you get when you don't bring a printer here.

The computer labs provided at SUNY Geneseo are a bit chaotic when it comes to printing out your work. I feel that most students, including myself have lost some of our printed work due to the various amount of students printing at one time. It would be better if each student would have to swipe there ID by the printer before printing instead of the work printing automatically and students having to look for it within the other works being printed. The computers are very nice and in good condition, but are very slow when using the internet. Most students on campus have their own laptops, but have no printer which contributes to the printing situation. Otherwise, it is great we have wireless access and if our personal computer is damaged there are good computer technicians on campus.

There are always computers available on campus. The only problem is that some computers in the library are very slow and have trouble connecting to the printer.

Plenty of computers are available for student use in several buildings, most available with printers as well. Milne Library and MacVittie Union are only open 'til 1AM and 11PM respectively, but there are a few 24 hour computer labs in South Hall and Fraser Library. I guess the only improvement could be more open desktops in the dorms, but most students have laptops anyway.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
