VERY Diverse!!

There are many international students and many people mix and mingle with other types of students. People are mainly treated equally; there does not seem to be discrimination. There are many different groups on campus. There are people of different races, cultures, and religions, and there are many different events that display the many cultures represented on campus!

Nature, Nature, and More Nature

The atmosphere is pretty laid back. There are lots of things to do if one is a nature fanatic. There are plenty of lakes, mountains for skiing, and rivers. The scenery is beautiful in the fall. There is a mall and a movie theatre a few minutes away from campus, as well as a bowling alley. In terms of nightlife, there are a couple places to go. There is one nightclub for students under 21, and then the rest of the places are generally for students who are 21 and over. But things in terms of nightlife are pretty fun. There are lots of fun things if one does not like to party as well. Montreal, Canada is about an hour away, and there are many places to shop, as well as places to enjoy wildlife and scenery. Lots of nice places to take photos.

The Killer Wind

The wind is quite strong. It is always there, but in the winter, its kills. It is so strong that breathing actually becomes difficult. In the summer, it serves as a nice breeze. Since it is cold most of the time up here, the wind is not a friendly ally.
