Advice on Finding a Job/Internship As soon as possible, make sure that you get onto the OCR mailing list, which updates students on what jobs are available on campus, when job fairs are, what career center events are coming up, and what corporations are sponsoring internships. If possible, try to get into an internship that corresponds to your major. This kind of experience is invaluable. Finding a job after graduation without any real world experience on your résumé is quite difficult, especially when there are other Stony Brook graduates to compete with.
