For all of you food critics out there, you certainly won’t be disappointed with the variety of food options within a close vicinity of campus. Whether you prefer fine wining and dining or a big greasy burger and milkshake, there are endless opportunities for a night out for dinner with friends or a big hearty breakfast. Some examples include (but are not limited to) Five Guys, Moe’s, McDonald’s, Taco Bell, The Cheesecake Factory, Olive Garden, IHOP, and many others. All of these options are within driving distance. Establishments such as Chipotle, Starbucks, TGI Fridays, and Cold Stone are located in Stuyvesant Plaza, a five-minute walk from campus. These are very popular with students because of the close proximity.
If you venture farther downtown, you can find a wider variety of eateries, ranging from Mexican to Japanese to Thai. You’ll find an abundance of little corner cafés and delicious diners. Jillian’s is also located deeper downtown, an exciting sports bar enjoyed by many hungry students hoping to catch the game. If you don’t feel like driving or you crave a midnight snack, there are endless takeout options that deliver right to your building. Wings Over Albany, Domino's, Madison’s Pizza, Chang’s Garden, Dragon City, DP Dough, and many other places make deliveries at 3 a.m., curing the late-night munchies for many a hungry student.

There are various off-campus dining options for the students at Albany. There are buses available to many different restaurants and places to eat. There are also many places that offer delivery for even more convenience.

Late Night Delivery
There are a ton of off campus restaurants that will deliver onto the campus and late at night. Even if you don't like a particular restaurants food you can choose from many others. There are at least 5 different Chinese restaurants and at least 4 Pizza shops that will deliver to your Quad. Some of them can be quite pricey while most are reasonable.
