- Look to get an internship in your junior and or senior years, at least. These look great for your résumé, as well as provide valuable hands-on training for your field. Don’t wait until the spring to start searching for an internship, either. You should have applications in to possible employers by January. Be aggressive and make your own contacts, and you will suceed.
