Unique Experience

Taylor has a reputation for not giving a lot of financial aid. I had a unique experience in my financial aid process. I won a lot of internal scholarships, and was awarded enough money from Taylor alone that made it possible and realistic to attend.

Not Really Existent

Unless you're an athlete or something else then there aren't scholarships. The school is extremely expensive and as far as I know Financial Aid doesn't do much to help people out.

Advice on Financial Aid

Taylor gives generous financial grants to students in need. As long as prospective students complete and file any required paperwork on time, the University will take care of the rest. Most financial aid grants are based on expected parental contribution. Taylor has many loans and scholarships available, as well. Academic scholarships are based largely upon SAT scores, and Taylor will combine the highest student scores from each of the three categories. Continue to retake the SAT and improve your score because students who receive high enough scores and maintain at least a 3.5 GPA receive automatic, renewable academic scholarships. Work-study is another option for students to earn financial assistance. Most importantly, prospective students should remain in prayer about college expenses. If God wants you to come to Taylor, He will provide the funds, sometimes miraculously, as many Taylor students will testify to.
