Welcome to Small Town Living

In the quaint, rural town of Upland, there are really only 2 restaurants. Ivanhoe's is infamous for their 100 ice cream flavors and 100 shake flavors. It's in walking distance from campus. Happy Buddha is a Chinese restaurant. If you're willing to drive 20 minutes to an hour to get food, then there's no problem. If you want something quick, well... you can go to the gas station mini mart, Circle K.

Taylor does try to be as diverse as possible

Taylor does try to be as diverse as possible, but since there is such a high price tag and not a lot of financial aid, combined with being in the middle of rural Indiana, the average student is white with a tiny bit of financial aid.
