Very expensive, lots of work to obtain a new lease

TC does not provide off-campus housing list. They give tips on selecting and contracting housing. But, students interact very actively on housing on facebook and TC portal.

Used a Broker – I already knew people in the city, which might make it easier to look for an apartment. It is less expensive to live outside of Manhattan, but it will be a bit of a commute.

Expensive, but Full of Options! TC is smack-dab in the middle of the greatest city on Earth, so apartments are always available. They have an office that helps with off-campus housing, so be sure to use that as a resource if you need it. Obviously, living in New York can be incredibly expensive, but it's worth it to be out on your own, living with friends, rather than thrown into dorm life as a graduate student.

Wouldn't Know. Not enough housing for most grad students. Being forced to find an affordable apartment in New York City is tough, and it stinks that TC doesn't give you a choice.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
